Red Lobster's strategies and information system show a forward-thinking, data-driven approach. While there are clear strengths in their strategy and technology utilization, the financial losses indicate room for refinement in applying these strategies to achieve sustainable profitability.
Red Lobster' s POS system and customer targeting that promotions and events were not able to maximize profits because of too much attention and they were overly supplying demand but still not able to turn a profit, to keep maximizing profits they cannot offer specials like this or they must figure out a way to create promos that work in their favor. Such as applying a promotion that is not unlimited but possibly at a lower price with more quantity, they would be able to acquire the customer flow and profit they desire.
Red Lobster is lacking in more modernization of technology that would make their life and all of the employees' lives simpler. Their approaches to advertising are also a bit outdated, although, with some of our suggestions and more approaches to social media, they could increase their profit by a substantial amount.
